Deanfield Coach House

In the heart of the magnificent historic Forest of Dean, this characterful hstar property combines superb comfort with lovely original features. Backing onto cycle/walking trails and the Nagshead RSPB nature reserve, the Coach House really is ideally situated. It is a short stroll to steam trains, pubs, restaurants and the village shop.

The Royal Forest of Dean

Once the hunting ground of Kings from the Normans onwards, the Royal Forest of Dean possesses a character, history and culture all of its own. Covering some 24,000 acres, year round it is the ideal location for a short break, family holiday or as a base for touring.

First time visitors are enchanted by the variety of attractions and activities, while those familiar with this peaceful and unique slice of England's heritage return to enjoy its charms again and again.

Parkend itself is superbly positioned at the heart of the Forest, putting many amenities within easy reach. Our location could hardly be better, as many regular visitors will testify.

Deanfield and The Coach House back onto the RSPB's Nagshead Nature Reserve, cycle and walking trails. The famous Dean Forest Railway runs to this unspoilt Village. Golf, fishing and cycle hire are all nearby. Lydney, Coleford and Clearwell Caves are just 4 miles away.

From Ross-on-Wye in the north to Chepstow in the south, Gloucester in the east and Monmouth in the west, nowhere in the Forest is more than half an hour away by car from Deanfield or The Coach House. Picturesque Parkend village is within easy walking distance with a Post Office, restaurant, shops and an Inn.
